RPS: robotic packing system for burger lines
RPS is DCM’s robotic system for the automatic loading of burgers into cases. It combines robotics, machine vision, and process control to automate a repetitive, demanding operation, reducing dependence on manual labor and improving packaging stability at high speed.
It allows different load formats and patterns (horizontal and vertical), incorporates inline quality inspection, and can integrate a metal detector to reinforce control before case closing.

What it is designed for
-
End-of-line automation
Eliminates manual tasks in frozen-product packing, ensuring continuous and efficient operation.
-
Less handling in cold areas
Reduces human intervention in low-temperature environments, improving ergonomics and working conditions.
-
Resource optimization
Reduces labor dependence and enables better staff allocation on the line.
-
Higher capacity with control
Increases productivity while maintaining stability, repeatability, and quality control in the process.
Conditions for best performance
Demanding hygiene
Performs best on lines with strict cleaning and sanitary-control standards.
Well-stabilized product
The burger must arrive well frozen, stable, and correctly presented at the infeed.
Quality cases and materials
A consistent supply of cases and bags helps maintain process continuity.
Uniform product presentation
A regular geometry improves repeatability, effective speed, and line utilization.
